MARINE MONDAY: MAD MIKE GOES TO BOOT CAMP (SORT OF)

Today is Marine Monday! We had four awesome guests come in to the studio, Staff Sgt. Queenan, Sgt. Hollay, Sgt. Colby, and Sgt. Dunn. They talked about Toys for Tots and gave Mad Mike a small sampling of Boot Camp…it was great, and we laughed our butts off as Mike did push-ups in the parking lot!  If you missed it, we’ll have it posted on the Audio Breaker Box as soon as possible.

As you know, this weekend was the launch of Toys for Tots and we were out at Toys R Us in Kingston and Poughkeepsie.  The campaign is off to a great start, and we are looking to make this our best year yet…but we need your help! If your office, church, organization, or school would like to be a volunteer collection site, contact us at (845) 567-6315 or send an email to toysfortots@wbpm929.com to find out how.  It’s the collection sites that allow this program to be what it is, the more places for people to donate toys the more toys we’ll get. What we love about Toys for Tots is that every toy collected in Dutchess County stays in Dutchess County (and the same for Ulster). It’s a great way to help out our less fortunate neighbors…so get involved! Stop by and see us, and the US Marine Corps Reserve to donate your toy, start a collection in your office, or donate your Coke points to this awesome cause. As always, the support of our listeners makes all the difference… so thanks in advance for your help this holiday season!
